Use restrictions

AskCash is for a person looking at their own money, with an agent they authorized. These uses are not allowed.

Not yours to connect

Do not connect a bank account that is not yours, or that you do not have a right to link. Do not use someone else’s email to open an account. Do not point an agent at another person’s connection.

No surveillance

Do not use AskCash, or an agent connected to it, to monitor someone else’s spending or to record their use of the product without their authority. Time tracking is not a feature we offer. Watching another person is not a use we allow.

Unlawful use

Do not use AskCash for fraud, to hide money movement that the law forbids, or to break a law that applies to you. We do not decide which law applies. If we have a concrete reason to think the use is unlawful or is harming someone, we may suspend the account.

The service itself

Do not attack the site, probe it, overload it, or scrape it. Do not share Plaid client secrets or access tokens. Do not try to get at another account’s rows.

An agent you connect has to stay inside the tools we expose. Hammering the agent connection can get that connection cut off. We will warn you first unless the use is already causing harm.

What we may do

We may suspend or close an account that breaks this page. We do not owe a refund if we do. See the refund policy. No refunds.

If you think an account is being used this way, write to support@askcash.app.
